Grouse Lake (Carson Pass)

This was supposed to be an easy hike. We got to the last half mile and our hearts sank to see the lake almost 1000’ below, knowing the first thing we’d do the next morning is hike back up. Not a hike we’d do again, but we’re glad we did it and great Sierra scenery.
